My Favorite Fall Combo: Bike Shorts & Cropped Sweaters
It’s full on fall here in CO, and in fact today it is FREEZING! On days like today I love to cozy up in my favorite cropped sweater and watch old movies. Right now as I am typing I am currently binge watching old Halloween movies! Today’s movie marathon started with Hocus Pocus and right now I watching one of my all-time favorites, Halloween Town. I love all things fall, and am still loving my favorite fall trend too. You all know I am talking about bike shorts and cropped sweaters!
I am so happy that this trend is still a thing and hope that it sticks around for many seasons to come. I recently found these two gorgeous Alo sweaters from Amazon, and opted to take advantage of their try before you buy program. Although Alo doesn’t offer sizes beyond a L, I find that I can usually find a great cropped sweater that works for me. These two in particular are so cute and perfect for fall!
I also want to mention that these bike shorts from the Lane Bryant LIVI collection are perfect for bigger bodies! They have an ultra wide band and the top and don’t roll up either. And the icing on the cake is that they are under $30!

This Alo Yoga sweater comes in three gorgeous colors, and I personally fell in love with the light lavender. It features a larger turtle neck which is perfect for colder weather and the mesh detailing on the sleeves and bottom of the sweater add a little something extra to the look. I paired these bike shorts and sweater with a pair of matching sneakers and my favorite pair of Quay sunnies.

The Alo Effortless hoodie gives me all the Kanye West collection vibes and is so cozy. This cropped sweater features a hoodie, stitched detailing and a slight bell sleeve. If you are looking for a more modern take on the typical hoodie, then this my friends is it! I paired this outfit combo with my only pair of dad sneakers from Adidas.
