IN FLIGHT | PLUS SIZE COMFORT PIECES FOR TRAVEL
Right now I am 10,000 feet up in the air, heading to Boston for the next 5 days! I am beyond excited to take a short vacay to see some of my besties over the Saint Patrick’s Day weekend. This week has been crazy busy: I had printer deadlines to meet, projects to get done for my main gig, and to top it all off, I am in the process of moving. Needless to say, my sleep levels have been pretty low and I have been sustaining on lots of coffee and my current favorite snack: peanuts. Luckily, I have been a good little worker bee, and was able to get everything done in time and am excited for some R&R and shamrock shenanigans.
Whenever I fly, I like to be as comfortable as possible. I have been flying since I was a wee tott and have always viewed airplanes as the perfect place to take a nap. Yes, I am that person who falls asleep as soon as the flight engines turn on. I very rarely can stay awake long enough to get a drink, and spend the entirety of the plane zonked out in La La Land. In fact, right now I am struggling to keep my eyes open as I write this post.
Anyways, I wanted to share my go-to flight attire. I almost always wear leggings, slip on shoes and a comfy sweater. Aside from the shoes (I am wearing Tory Burch boots, because I thought it would be ‘fun’ to visit Boston during winter), I am wearing my usual. Today’s flight fashion includes a pink thrasher sweater from THE LAUNDRY ROOM, ZELLA leggings, and TORY BURCH waterproof booties.
I LOVE my thrasher sweater! It reminds me of pieces from the YEEZY collection, and is sooooo comfortable. The inside of the sweater is baby soft and as it becomes more worn it gets even softer! Seriously guys, you all need to have something from THE LAUNDRY ROOM in your closet, their shit is the BOMB–DOT–COM!
